It is revered by both Hindus and Buddhists.For Hindus, Muktinath is one of the 108 Divya Desams (sacred Vishnu temples), and visiting it is believed to bring moksha (liberation from the cycle of birth and death). The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, worshipped here as Muktinath (the Lord of Salvation).

For Buddhists, the spot is associated with Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) and is known for the eternal flame (a natural gas fire) and 108 water spouts, which pilgrims bathe under as part of a ritual cleansing.

Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and located near the popular trekking route of the Annapurna Circuit, Muktinath is not only spiritually significant but also scenically beautiful.

Day 1: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Morning: Depart from Kathmandu, either by bus (6-7 hours) by jeep/Bus. check in Hotel .

Day 2: Pokhara to Jomsom

Explore Pokhara Lakeside, visit Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, and enjoy boating on Phewa Lake.After sightseeing departure to Jomsom,
Tatopani is the place where we will have lunch and rest. We will continue our journey by observing the beautiful landscapes of the Mustang region. We will further pass through the beautiful scenic settlements of Marpha, and Kagbeni, to arrive at Jomsom.

The route turns narrow through rugged roads once you arrive at Beni. The mountain vista, hills, and waterfalls look incredibly beautiful. Tatopani hot water spring is where you can relax while traveling. After traveling for 6-7 hours, you will arrive at Jomsom.

Muktinath (3,800 meters) is a sacred site revered by both Hindus and Buddhists. It houses the famous Muktinath Temple, believed to grant salvation (moksha). The eternal flame, 108 water sprouts, and peaceful surroundings make it a spiritually uplifting destination.
